This year boasts an exciting series of spectacular events brought to you by Kingston Black community members in collaboration with the city, local partners, vendors, and organizations.
With highlights including a featured screening of Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever.
Rockin’ The Square with headliner Kardinal Offishall with special guest, Maestro Fresh Wes, and local hip-hop artist Keaton (
web link). The City of Kingston is providing free public transit in support of this year’s Rockin’ the Square. Buses will be free from 6 to 11 p.m. on Friday, July 28.
An AfroBeats Dance Party extravaganza at Daft Brewing (
web link) featuring AA DJs.
And the launch of the inaugural Black Businesses Block Party 2023, featuring a host of local Black vendors, foods, artists, musicians, and everything from face painting to rock climbing, basketball, bouncy castles, a mobile bar and more!
