About

Kunda African Culture Music & Dance

since circa 2010
Fronted by djeliba (traditional entertainer, musician, and keeper of tribal history) and djembefola (master drummer) Kocassale Dioubate, from West Africa's Mandingo tribe, Kunda is a group of multicultural musicians and dancers from various regions of Africa, as well as Canada, who specialize in traditional African music and dance.
Kunda's presentations are colorful and high-energy, combining explosive percussion, tribal dances, exotic costumes, joyful melodies, soul-full instrumental peices, and great vocals.. Both audio & visual, Kunda's shows transport their audiences to distant lands...
Kunda offers irresistibly danceable festival performances and community shows, as well as children's entertainment, school shows, & workshops.
