GreenTaRA brings a fresh brand of soul-funk-jazz-reggae fusion to the world stage. Laced with kickin' vocals, bangin' bass, and consciously delicious lyrics, their new CD "GLOBAL BABY" is a collection of full-bodied songs, incorporating horns, keys, strings, scratching and an unending array of rhythmic elements that leave no groove unturned. Reminiscent of '70s soul but lavishly updated with a stylistically modern hip hop and R&B feel, their music can't help but have a wide appeal. GreenTaRA combines vocal charm and tight musicianship with solid songwriting and powerful messages for a guaranteed good time.
CHEEK - Hip hop meets funk-ravaged jazz with seductive guitar riffs, catchy hooks and flawless flow. Emily Roop's lyrical prowess and sultry vocal style combined with her well-rounded sense of cheek completes this dynamic band.
ROSS VEGAS - Blending melody, groove and mood, Ross Vegas meshes resonant vocals, pulsing rhythms and sonic ambience. A funk/soul/reggae machine, Ross Vegas always puts on a memorable show with their cool, groovy sound-mixture of memorable melodies and soulful vocals. Their most recent release "Flow" was recorded at Vogville Studios with renowned producer/engineer Jonathan Fluevog at the helm. The result is a collection of well-crafted songs that are cooly grooving and laced with a gritty edge.
