Event Description
The interdisciplinary collective urbanvessel will perform the acclaimed one-act a cappella opera, Stitch, composed for three women and three sewing machines. Anchored in the sounds and rhythms of sewing, Stitch uncovers the emotional layers of the relationship between women and machine, fusing the mechanical and the lyrical world. Stitch features the talents of vocalists Christine Duncan, Patricia O’Callaghan and Neema Bickersteth with music by Juliet Palmer and text by Anna Chatterton. www.urbanvessel.com
