Kingston Youth Orchestra Spring Spectacular '24

Event Description

The Kingston Youth Orchestra is celebrating its 55th Anniversary this year and we are having a concert on May 28 to commemorate this milestone. At the concert we are inviting former KYO members, former instructors, and local “friends of KYO” to perform with us in the final piece. We will have performers from the orchestra back to its beginnings in the late '60's right up to alumni from last year.

Many alumni of KYO have gone on to careers as professional musicians but of equal importance others have gone on to successful lives and appreciators of music; many with very impressive educational achievements from institutions such as Oxford, Princeton, Cornell, Dartmouth and many prominent colleges and universities in Canada. As it is said, success in music, success in life.
