The Barrel Boys are a Canadian bluegrass group who play original material with impeccable musicianship and hugely entertaining showmanship. The band’s sound is built around rich 4 part vocal harmonies and virtuosic instrumental playing, and their unique repertoire is informed by their fluency in classic bluegrass, old-time, country, and Americana. Each of the 5 members writes and sings their own songs, making for a wide stylistic range within the band’s sound.

Ellen Hamilton has a new CD out with her group Night Sun, and it is a terrific return to the music scene for this Kingston quartet.
